Carla has been creating for as long as she can remember! She specializes in illustration and hand lettering. With training as an advertising creative, her illustrations often play on big ideas and solid messaging. Though now based in Montreal, she spent years travelling the world and working as a location-independent freelancer. These experiences made her incredibly solution-driven and able to think outside the box - characteristics her clients love! Her work has been described as quirky, playful, cute, with an underlying gentle humour and feel-good sentiment. Some themes you will find in her illustrations include nature, adventure and animals. The original and catchy phrases are always hand lettered, adding a truly unique quality. She is excited to bring this personal touch to publishing, editorial and on-site activations, as well as to products available through art licensing.
